Funding Opportunity
Bristol Aging & Wellness, Inc. (Bristol) is accepting proposals. Funding will be awarded to support effective initiatives and programs that closely align with one or more of the following priorities: Access to services, access to affordable health care services, in-home support for maintaining independence, transportation access and availability, active & wellness promotion, and legal services. A total of $220,000 is expected to be available each year. Awards are dependent upon Bristol’s receipt of funding from the Massachusetts Executive Office of Aging & Independence each year.
A 15% non-federal match is required. The funds are provided through the Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) 93.044 Special Programs for the Aging, Title III, Part B, Grants for Supportive Services and Senior Centers and are subject to those regulations and guidelines.
Successful applicants will be awarded funding for a two-year period, beginning October 1, 2025, and ending September 30, 2027. Funding should provide services to a significant number of older adults, age 60 and over, populations living alone (isolated), low-income, rural, Native American, and/or socially isolated (i.e., geographic in nature; LGBTQ+; limited English proficiency) and caregivers of those 60 and over.
The programs must serve older adults residing in at least one of the following communities: Attleboro, Berkley, Dighton, Fall River, Freetown, Mansfield, North Attleboro, Norton, Raynham, Rehoboth, Seekonk, Somerset, Swansea, Taunton, and Westport. Collaboration is encouraged.
