Support Services and Resources Page Support Groups Respite Care Day Care Programs Supportive Day Care Centers provide a structured place where elders can gather and socialize. Social Day Care Centers are staffed, meals are available, and various activities such as day trips are regularly scheduled. To be eligible for a social day care program, elders must be able to take care of their own personal needs and manage their own medications. Hours and days of operation may vary. Click here for a list of Supportive Day Care Centers. Adult Day Health Care Centers provide a secure environment for elders with health or medical concerns. Adult Day Health Centers offer recreational activities and meals. They also have a medically trained staff who can assist elders with medications, nutrition, personal hygiene, and safety. Elders with Medicaid benefits should request an Adult Day Health screening by contacting Bristol at (508) 675-2101.
