The Southeastern Alliance For Elders (SAFE) is the local elder justice coalition serving the greater Fall River and New Bedford areas.  SAFE strives for a community where elders are safe and free from abuse.  Bristol Elder Services, Inc. is the local resource for elders who are abused, neglected, exploited, or self-neglecting.  Bristol Elder Services, Inc. has partnered with Coastline Elderly Services, Inc. and local organizations to form SAFE. SAFE members will spend the next year sharing information about elder abuse, its signs and symptoms and ways to alleviate it.  The hallmark of the campaign is taking notice, taking action.  Education will focus on ways the community can contribute to overcoming elder abuse. If you suspect elder abuse is occurring or has occurred call Bristol Elder Services, Inc. at 1-508-675-2101 or the statewide  Elder Abuse Hotline at 1-800-922-2275 to make a report.For further information about SAFE or elder abuse contact Bristol Elder Services, Inc.
